Youran Dairy has pioneered the introduction of the TPM (Total Productive Management) system in the global animal husbandry industry, gradually integrating lean thinking and methods into various aspects such as feed processing, dairy farming, management processes, and value analysis. By independently developing a lean management methodology tailored to the industry, the company adheres to the principle of "doing it right the first time, every time" under the model of one thought, one standard, and one mechanism, continuously driving the business towards lean, efficient, and high-quality development. By actively integrating resources and benchmarking against excellent lean management companies, the company has fully merged its operations with the TPM methodology. Its feed mills in Linhe, Ningxia, and Dumeng have been awarded the "TPM Excellence Award - Class A". The Dayang Ranch has been honored with the "TPM Continuous Excellence Award". Driven by lean operations, the Dayang Ranch has seen an annual increase of over 2 kg in milk yield per milkable cow over the past three years, a reduction of 12.3% in electricity consumption per ton, and a 7.9% decrease in water consumption per ton. The overall equipment utilization efficiency of the ranch has increased by 14.7% compared to 2018.

The testing center of Youran Dairy was the first to be accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). The test results within the scope of accreditation can be mutually recognized in many countries which ensures that the raw materials are put into use after passing the test..

Youran Dairy has built a near-infrared nutritional database of major raw materials for dairy farming in China, which provides comprehensive raw material nutritional index data for precise formulation, and the acquisition of multiple nutritional indexes optimizes the dynamic cost of formulation. At the same time, NIR rapid testing technology is applied to the value assessment of raw materials to guide the procurement, quality control and grading of raw materials. The database has already exceeded 1 million calibrated samples, and the full results of sample testing can be obtained within 1 minute, which can quickly and accurately test the quality of raw materials and instantly analyze the nutritional value of raw materials, which is conducive to promoting the landing of precise nutritional solutions for dairy cow.

Youran Dairy has obtained 91 technical patents, including A Eucommia Leaf Composition for Prepartum Dairy Cows and Its Preparation Method and Application and Induced Expansion of Multipotent Adult Stem Cells in Cattle, Line Establishment Method, and Culture Medium. The company has also participated in the formulation of 45 national, local, and industry standards, accumulating substantial intellectual property assets and continuously enhancing its core competitiveness. Simultaneously, we will explore and practice research on dairy cow production performance, precision nutrition, pasture management, and animal health, as well as low-carbon breeding technologies.
