SkX, Youran Dairy's subsidiary, is China's largest dairy cow breeding enterprise. In 2024, it produced over 25,000 sex-sorted embryos for dairy cow, representing a 75.7% increase as compared to the previous year. The breeding business spans both China and the United States, with five core dairy cow breeding bases in Hohhot and Wisconsin, USA. There is also one core breeding base for beef
cattle and dairy goats each in Hohhot, dedicated to building a world-class platform for the development and innovation of breeding technologies for dairy cow and dairy goats. For the first time in the world, a new type of functional extended embryonic stem cell for cattle has been successfully developed. This breakthrough has also ended the long-standing foreign monopoly on genomic detection technologies for 'high-yield, long-lived, disease-resistant' dairy cow, leading to the successful creation of the 'Breeding Chip No. 1'. In April 2025, according to the latest genetic evaluation results for domestic registered reserve breeding bulls in the United States released by the NAAB (National Association of Animal Breeders), the breeding bulls bred by Youran Dairy's SKX secured 4 out of the top 10 spots, 8 out of the top 20, and 49 out of the top 100.
