SK·XING, an enterprise under Youran Dairy, is the largest dairy farming enterprise in China. In the first half of 2024, the sales volume of sex-controlled embryos increased by 132.4% YoY. The breeding business has operations in both China and the United States. There are 2 bull stations in Wisconsin, USA, and Helingeer, China. There are 5 core breeding bases for dairy cows, beef cattle, and dairy goats in Hohhot, dedicated to building a world-class dairy farming technology research and development and germplasm innovation platform. SK·XING under Youran Dairy has cultivated the top-ranked domestic bull registered in the US. According to the data ranking of the same period's American genome, it can reach the 35th place. Based on the latest results released by the National Association of Animal Breeders (NAAB) in April 2024, the Holstein bulls cultivated by SK·XING under Youran Dairy swept the top eight of the registered bulls in China. SK·XING under Youran Dairy has cumulatively produced over 50,000 sex-controlled embryos of high-yield dairy cows with an annual single-yield potential of more than 14 tons.

Youran Dairy has set up the “National Dairy Technology Innovation Center” Dairy Breeding and Cultivation Technology Research Sub-center to carry out key technology research on dairy cattle breeding. It also established “Academician Expert Workstation of Livestock Germplasm Resources and Embryo Engineering Technology” with Inner Mongolia University and Inner Mongolia Agricultural University to develop new lines of dairy cows with enhanced gene functions of high propagation, low-carbon, disease-resistant, and antireversal-resistant. It also set up the National Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Livestock Sex Control Technology, and carried out research on animal cloning, sex-sorted embryo production and stem cell-related bioengineering technology around dairy farming and breeding, providing technical support for the improvement and selection of dairy cow breeds.
